In an effort to keep himself active while waiting to defend his national title against Sinethemba Kotana in September, South African flyweight champion Jackson ‘M3’ Chauke will face Tanzanian Mustafa Khalid Mkupasi on Thursday next week.
Chauke’s fight against the 26-year-old unbeaten Mkupasi is going to be held at The Galleria in Sandton, Johannesburg.
“We are going to fight against Mustapha Mkupasi from Tanzania,” Chauke’s trainer Damien Durandt confirmed.
Mkupasi from Kimara in Tanzania comes highly recommended after winning all his nine fights with seven of them inside the distance.
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old Chauke has defended his national title three times since winning it in a fight against Thabang Ramagole in April 2019.
