Team South Africa collected its second medal at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, on Saturday evening.
The second gold came after Pieter Coetze from Pretoria won the men’s 100-metre breaststroke in 53,78 seconds.
The 18-year-old Coetze’s medal came after Lara van Niekerk won gold in the 50-metre women’s breaststroke earlier.
