Swallows FC fought hard to earn a valuable point as they drew goalless with TS Galaxy in a DStv Premiership match at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Saturday afternoon.
The Rockets were the better team in the first half and created a number of goal scoring opportunities, but found Swallows goalkeeper Sanele Tshabalala equal to the task.
Match referee Sikhumbuzo Gasa awarded the Rockets a penalty after Junaid Sait handled the ball inside the box. Veteran striker Bernard Parker stepped forward and his penalty was saved by Tshabalala in the 63rd minute.
The point earned from this match has lifted the Dube Birds off the bottom of the Premiership standings to 15th.
