Struggling KwaZulu-Natal side Maritzburg United have sacked their coach John Maduka and his technical team following a string of poor results.
Maduka, who joined the Team of Choice after doing well with Royal AM last season, only won two matches with the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands club.
Leaking seven goals – a 5-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns and a 2-0 defeat by Lamontville Golden Arrows – was the last straw which resulted in Maduka getting the chop.
The Team of Choice are stone last on the Premiership standings with 11 points having won twice, drawn five matches and lost six times.
