Former South African junior-featherweight and featherweight titlist Macbute Sinyabi has produced yet another provincial champion in Bongani Fule, a boxer from Makhanda in the Eastern Cape.
Fule defeated Mvuzo Kotobe from Stutterheim by a fifth round technical knockout to claim the vacant Eastern Cape junior-lightweight title in a fight, which was held at the Titi Jonas Sports Complex in Port Alfred on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Unathi Sityotyo from Duncan Village beat Phumlani’s Sinesipho Poni by a fourth round technical knockout in the main supporting bout.
