East African giants Young Africans beat Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in a friendly match played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, on Saturday evening.
The only goal of the match came after Kennedy Musonda chipped the ball over an advancing Amakhosi goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune as match referee Tatu Malogo was about to blow for half-time.
This match formed part of Amakhosi’s preparations for the upcoming 2023/24 season. Chiefs are going to face Township Rollers in another friendly match in Botswana next Saturday.
