Amalie Vangsgaard’s header helped Denmark beat China 1-0 in a 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup match at the Perth Rectangular Stadium on Saturday.

It looked like the match was going to end in a goalless draw until Vangsgaard rose high to head home from Pernice Mosegaard Harder’s corner in the 90th minute.

Meanwhile, Georgia Stanway’s penalty helped England defeat Haiti 1-0 at the Brisbane Stadium.
