The All Blacks are going to face Argentina in the semi-finals of the 2023 Rugby World Cup at Stade de France, Paris, on Friday next week.
The All Blacks reached the semi-finals of the tournament after they survived a scare before they beat favourites Ireland 28-24 at the same Paris venue on Saturday evening.
The three-time world champions led 13-0 before the 20th minute mark. But the Irish rallied on to make sure that the All Blacks led 18-17 at half time.
The All Blacks scored three tries through Leicester Fainga’anuku, Ardie Savea and Will Jordan while Bundee Aki and Jamison Gibson-Park crossed the try line for Ireland, who were also awarded a penalty try.
Richie Mo’unga succeeded with a penalty and a conversion. Jordie Barrett converted two penalties and also succeeded with a conversion.
On the other hand, Ireland flyhalf Johnny Sexton converted a penalty and also succeeded with two conversions.
