Lyle Lakay netted a brace as his team SuperSport United beat TS Galaxy 3-2 in a DStv Premiership at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Wednesday evening.
Lakay gave Matsatsantsa a Pitori an early lead when he scored in the fifth minute. However, Matsatsantsa’s lead was cancelled by Higor Felipe Vidal’s goal in the ninth minute.
The Rockets led for the first time during the match after Lehlohonolo Mojela scored their second goal in the 20th minute.
Six minutes later, Lakay completed his brace and Matsatsantsa’s winning goal was scored by Bradley Grobler in the 76th minute.
Disaster struck for Matsatsantsa when they were reduced to 10 men after Ronald Pfumbidzai was red carded for a second bookable offence seven minutes before full-time.
