Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos on Tuesday named a 44-member preliminary squad for next month’s two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda. 

Bafana are going to host Benin at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban before they travel to Huye to face Rwanda on Tuesday, 21 November.

Broos is set to whittle down the preliminary squad to 23 players before Bafana clash with the two national teams.
