Cape Town City registered their fifth straight win after they beat Royal AM 2-0 in a DStv Premiership encounter at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday evening. 

It was the first time ever that coach Eric Tinkler’s Citizens have won five matches in a row. 

As a result of the win over Thwihli Thwahla, the Citizens have moved to third place on the Premiership standings with 22 points.

Jaedin Rhodes opened the scoring in the 31st minute following a Keanu Cupido run and Thabo Nodada netted their second goal in the 89th minute.
