Orlando Pirates earned the bragging rights after they defeated Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in a Soweto derby at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Saturday afternoon.
The only goal of the match was scored by Eidence Makgopa netted in the 20th minute after he was set up by Bandile Shandu.
Meanwhile, Polokwane City and Moroka Swallows played to a goalless draw at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
