The late former boxing administrator Andile Miki Klaas is going to be laid to rest on Saturday after a service in Gugulethu, Cape Town.
Klaas, a one-time professional boxer who turned administrator, passed away last Sunday afternoon. He had been battling ill-health for years.
Fighting professionally after making his debut in September 1979 and had his last fight in July 1983, Klaas recorded six victories, one defeat and a draw.
Klaas was a World Boxing Organisation (WBO) supervisor in Africa at the time of his death.
