Egyptian giants Al Ahly earned a valuable 1-0 win over Simba Sports Club in a first leg quarter-final match at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, on Friday evening.
The Red Devils won the match through an early goal, which was scored by Ahmed Abil Kouka in the fifth minute.
The two sides are going to meet again in the second leg encounter scheduled for Cairo, Egypt, next weekend.
