Four wins and a draw have earned Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena the April Coach of the Month award ahead of Orlando Pirates’ Jose Riveiro, Stellenbosch FC mentor Steve Barker as well as Chippa United co-coaches Thabo September and Kwanele Kopo.
Mokwena led the Brazilians to wins over Richards Bay FC, Cape Town Spurs, Sekhukhune United and TS Galaxy. The Tshwane giants also drew with Moroka Swallows.
On the other hand, the Player of the Month award went to Chilli Boys’ Sinoxolo Kwayiba, who scored four goals in four matches, while Asekho Tiwani’s cracker during Babina Noko’s 1-0 win over Spurs earned him the Goal of the Month award.
