Kaizer Chiefs eased past amateur side Free Agents FC, beating them 4-0 in a Nedbank Cup last-32 match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec, Johannesburg, on Sunday evening.
Midfielder Pule Mmodi gave Amakhosi the lead in the 18th minute and completed his brace eight minutes later.
Angolan Inacio Miguel increased Amakhosi’s lead when he headed in from a suspiciously offside looking position in the 62nd minute. And Ranga Chivaviro netted Amakhosi’s fourth goal in the 83rd minute following a defensive blunder by Agents.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates whipped Richards Bay FC 3-1 in an earlier Nedbank Cup match held at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Umlazi.
