Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) log-leaders Durban City dumped TS Galaxy out of the Nedbank Cup following a 2-1 win at a wet Chatsworth Stadium in Durban on Friday evening.
City came from 1-0 down to advance to the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup courtesy of goals from Joslin Kamatuka and Senzo Ndlovu after extra time.
The two goals cancelled out the Rockets’ goal, which was scored by their marksman Dženan Zajmović early in the second half.
