Western Cape boxing stakeholders are going to pay the Brice family a visit on Saturday morning following the passing away of veteran trainer Emil Brice.
The former professional boxer, who passed away aged 66, lost his battle with cancer early on Thursday morning.
“The Western Cape boxing community is deeply saddened by the passing of one of its esteemed stalwarts, Emil Brice. His contributions and dedication to the sport will be remembered fondly by all who knew him,” Boxing South Africa’s manager in the Western Cape Mzoli Tempi said.
Tempi added: “In honour of his memory, the Western Cape boxing fraternity will be visiting the Brice family this Saturday at 11am. We invite all members and supporters to join us in paying their respects.
“We encourage everyone to wear their boxing regalia to show solidarity and respect. Boxers are especially encouraged to don their gear as a mark of tribute. Let us come together to celebrate Emil’s life and legacy.”
