Bonginkosi ‘Malume’ Nhlapho from Middelburg in Mpumalanga is the new World Boxing Federation (WBF) All-Africa light-heavyweight champion.
This followed after Nhlapho defeated Nelson Mbhele on points at the Event City in Middelburg on Saturday evening.
And Vuyo Maphosa scored an eighth round technical knockout victory over Manqoba Magubane to win the Mpumalanga junior-lightweight title.
