Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has called up Stellenbosch FC forward Ashley Cupido to his squad ahead of Tuesday evening’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
The Belgian-born coach was forced to call Cupido, formerly with Cape Town Spurs, following an injury to Burnley FC striker Lyle Foster.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Cupido scored in his last appearance in a Bafana shirt during their 2-0 win over Mozambique in June this year.
