Bafana Bafana’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals received a knock when they drew goalless with Zimbabwe at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Friday evening.
With Group C leaders Benin beating Rwanda 1-0 and moving to 17 points going to the last qualifier on Tuesday next week, Bafana have a mammoth task to win their match against the Rwandans.
Bafana have 15 points and the Nigerian Super Eagles, who defeated Lesotho 2-1, are only a point behind them going to their match against Benin next week.
