Hosts Morocco are going to play against the Teranga Lions of Senegal in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament on Sunday evening.
This followed after the Atlas Lions beat the Nigerian Super Eagles 4-2 on penalties at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat early on Thursday morning, South African time.
The encounter between Morocco and Nigeria had to be decided on spot kicks after the two sides failed to find the back of the net in 120 minutes of football.
On the other hand, the Teranga Lions reached the final after they beat the Pharaohs of Egypt 1-0 courtesy of a Sadio Mané strike in the first semi-final.
