Richards Bay FC earned three hard-fought points after they beat Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in a Betway Premiership match at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex on Tuesday evening.
The goal that separated the two teams came from Thulani Gumede after he was put through by Natal Rich Boyz returnee Sabelo Barns in the 69th minute to hand Amakhosi their third successive loss in the Betway Premiership.
Elsewhere, Orbit College defeated TS Galaxy 2-1 at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit. Gomolemo Khoto and Lesedi Kapinga netted for Mswenko Boys with Siphamandla Ngwenya scoring for the Rockets.
Meanwhile, Siwelele FC and Stellenbosch FC played to a goalless draw at the Free State Stadium in Mangaung.
