Kaizer Chiefs moved to the top of the CAF Confederation Cup Group D standings following a 2-1 win over Al Masry 2-1 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane in Sunday afternoon.
Flavio da Silva and Aiden McCarthy netted for Amakhosi while Al Masry’s goal came from Abderrahim Deghmoum. Following the win, Chiefs moved to 10 points while Zamalek are in second position after they were beaten 1-0 by ZESCO United through Amine Hiver’s goal.
