AmaZulu have advanced to the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup after they beat Richards Bay FC 1-0 at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex on Friday evening.
As the two teams went to the break without scoring goals, Hendrick Pule Ekstein scored the all-important goal, which separated the two sides in the 54th minute.
Following their win in the KwaZulu-Natal derby, coach Arthur Zwane’s Usuthu became the first team to reach the last eight of the competition.
