Richards Bay FC and Orlando Pirates played to a 2-2 draw in a Betway Premiership encounter at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex, Kwa-Zulu-Natal, on Friday evening.
The home side took the lead in the 11th minute after Thulani Gumede’s long range shot following a pass from Siphiwe Mcineka sailed past Pirates goalkeeper Sipho Chaine.
After they came back from the break, the Buccaneers showed more purpose and they finally equalised through Oswin Appollis seven minutes into the second half.
Seven minutes later, the Natal Rich Boyz restored their lead through Lindokuhle Zikhali. And just as the Natal Rich Boyz thought they had it in the bag, Lebona Seema made it 2-2 from outside the box in referee’s added time.
