Briton Paul Butler dominated before defeating Jonas Sultan from the Philippines during their clash at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, England, on Friday evening. 

As a result of the victory, the 33-year-old Butler is the new World Boxing Organisation (WBO) interim bantamweight champion. 

The three judges gave the former International Boxing Federation (IBF) bantamweight champion the nod with Howard Foster scoring the fight 116-112, Fernando Laguna 117-111 and Manuel Oliver Palomo 118-110.
