Simangele ‘Smash’ Hadebe is scheduled to defend her African Boxing Union (ABU) female flyweight title in Johannesburg on Thursday, 25 August.
Hadebe is going to put her crown on the line in a fight against Stumai Muki Paulo from Dar-Es-Salaam in Tanzania.
This is going to be Hadebe’s first defence of the ABU title she won when she outpointed Tanzanian Halima Vunjabei in Johannesburg earlier this year.
Hadebe is also the reigning South African female flyweight champion. She won the SA title after she defeated Thema Zuma in Pretoria in September last year.
Hadebe will go to the fight with a professional record of 12 victories with three knockouts, three losses and two draws. On the other hand, the Tanzanian has six wins and one defeat.
