Zandile Kabini has resigned as chairperson of Women in Boxing (WIB) committee of Boxing South Africa (BSA).
It is believed that Kabini resigned from her position after she was allegedly sidelined and took no part in the women’s boxing week festivities, which started in Durban on Monday.
Friday’s Starline Promotions tournament, which is going to be held at Durban’s Olive Convention Centre forms part of the festivities. The WIB week is going to end on Saturday after a breakfast with Deputy Minister of Sport Nocawe Mafu.
Contacted for comment, Kabini referred all queries to BSA board chairperson Luthando Jack, whose cellphone kept ringing without being answered.
