The unavailability of The Galleria in Sandton, Johannesburg, on Thursday, 29 September, has forced organisers of Jackson ‘M3’ Chauke’s title defence against Sinethemba Kotana to stage the duel a week earlier.
Tembisa-based Chauke will be making the fourth defence of his South African flyweight title when he clashes with Kotana on Thursday, 22 September.
And Kotana from Mdantsane becomes the fourth Eastern Cape boxer to try to wrestle the crown away from the 37-year-old Chauke.
Already, Chauke has beaten Sihle Jelwana and Luyanda Ntwanambe while he drew with Phumelela Cafu in defence of his national title.
