Bad light stopped play on day three of the third and final Test between England and the Proteas at The Oval on Saturday evening.

At stumps, England were 154 for seven after surpassing the 118 score of the Proteas, who were bowled out in their first innings.

England’s Ollie Pope did well with his bat knocking 67 runs from 77 deliveries until he became Kagiso Rabada’s first victim.

Marco Jansen took four wickets while Rabada claimed two with Anrich Nortje taking the other English wicket.

Meanwhile, Ollie Robinson was on form as he took five wickets for 49 in the Proteas’ first innings.

The Proteas struggled with the bat and none of their players even managed to reach 40. Jansen did better than his teammates hitting 30 runs from 59 balls.
