Prince Dlomo is going to put his South African junior-welterweight title on the line for the third time this year.
Dlomo, who is originally from Pietermaritzburg, is set to collide with Marcus ‘King Labamba’ Lebogo in the third defence of his national title in Brakpan on Sunday, 6 November.
Already, the Mzimhlophe-based Dlomo has defended his crown against Xolani Mgidi, Xolani Mcotheli and Siseko Makeleni. He won the national title after he outpointed Mcotheli in March last year.
This is going to be the second time Lebogo challenges for the same title. He lost to then champion Mcotheli at the Mdantsane Indoor Sport Centre in October 2019.
Tembisa-based Lebogo, who is trained by Damien Durandt, will go to the Dlomo fight after he topped Chumani Thunzi in Soweto in July.
