Orlando Pirates have moved to the Nedbank Cup last-16 after they defeated Motsepe Foundation Championship side All Stars 2-0 at the Milpark Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday evening.
It looked like All Stars were going to hold their own against the Buccaneers, especially after the two sides were goalless at half-time. However, things changed in the second half as Pirates scored twice.
Monnapule Saleng gave the Soweto giants the lead in the 62nd minute and Thembinkosi Lorch added the second goal eight minutes later.
