Retired two-time world and South African champion Mzonke ‘The Rose of Khayelitsha’ Fana has switched his focus into training boxers.
Fana, an erstwhile International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-lightweight champion, has joined Brice’s Boxing Academy in Cape Town where he will train boxers together with Emil Brice and Allan Dillon.
Apart from being a former world champion, the 49-year-old Qumbu-born Fana also held the South African junior-lightweight and lightweight titles when he was still a boxer.
