Former South African light-heavyweight champion Isak Johannes ‘Sakkie’ Enslin has passed away. He was 63 years old.
Enslin, who was born in Melkbosstrand in the West Coast, passed away on Wednesday. Enslin won the SA light-heavyweight title after he defeated Solomon Zuma at Westridge Park in Durban in May 1985.
He successfully defended the national title twice against Freddy Rafferty and Zuma before losing it to Sakkie Horn in March 1986.
