Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) side Maritzburg United have fired their head coach Zipho Dlangalala, just 13 matches into the 2023/24 season.
Dlangalala left the Team of Choice in seventh place on the MFC standings with 19 points, six behind log-leaders Orbit College.
Last Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Pretoria Callies at home as well as winning only once in their last six matches accelerated Dlangalala’s exit from the Team of Choice.
The KwaZulu-Natal Midlands club have won five times, drawn four and lost four matches. They have scored 16 and leaked 11 goals.
