Stellenbosch FC reached their first ever final after they defeated Richards Bay FC 3-0 in a Carling Knockout semi-final encounter at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Unlazi, Durban, on Saturday afternoon.
Following a goalless first half, Stellies took the lead through Devin Titus following a pass from Iqraam Rayners six minutes into the second stanza.
The Cape Winelands side doubled the lead in the 70th minute through Anicet Oura’s goal.
Second half substitute Antonio van Wyk made sure that matters were beyond reach for the Natal Rich Boyz when he scored Stellies’ third goal four minutes before full-time.
