In-form Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is competing with his teammate Teboho Mokoena and Stellenbosch FC striker Iqraam Rayners for the PSL Footballer of the Season award as announced on Friday afternoon.
Williams has also been nominated for the DStv Premiership Players’ Player of the Season award where he once again competes with Rayners as well as Patrick Maswanganyi from Orlando Pirates.
Gqeberha-born Williams has also been nominated in the Goalkeeper of the Season category alongside Sage Stephens from Stellies and Badra Sangare from Sekhukhune United.
Meanwhile, Sundowns mentor Rulani Mokwena is competing with Stellies’ Steve Barker and Jose Riveiro from Pirates in the DStv Premiership Coach of the Season category.
