The South African Football Association (SAFA) announced on Wednesday evening that Bafana Bafana’s international friendly match against Zambia’s Chipolopolo is going to be held at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Saturday, 15 November.
This is going to be the first time that coach Hugo Broos’ team play in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro since their 5-0 win over Congo in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in October last year.
The match against Chipolopolo is going to form part of Bafana’s preparations for the AFCON tournament, which is set to be hosted by Morocco starting next until January next year.
