Egyptian side Al-Masry SC defeated Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in a CAF Confederation Cup Group D match at the Suez Canal Stadium in Cairo, Egypt, on Sunday evening.

Fillowing a goalless first half, the Green Eagles scored first through Bonheur Mugisha’s converted penalty in the 59th minute.

Amakhosi didn’t give up despite trailing by an odd goal and their efforts bore fruits as Dillan Solomons equalised in the 66th minute following his own hard work.

The Green Eagles led for the second time during the match as Mohamed Hashem netted their second goal in the 87th minute.
