Stellenbosch FC walked away with a point after they drew 1-1 with Tanzanian side Singida Black Stars in a CAF Confederation Cup match at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar on Sunday evening.
Playing his 50th match for Stellies, Langelihle Phili gave the Cape Winelands club the lead in the 56th minute.
And it looked like Stellies were gonna walk away with three points until Omega Mdaka conceded a penalty in the dying minutes of the match. Marouf Tchakei equalised for the Tanzanians from the penalty spot.
