Siwelele FC drew 1-1 with Mamelodi Sundowns in a Betway Premiership match at the Dr Molemela Stadium in Mangaung on Wednesday evening.

Vincent Pule broke the deadlock in the 27th minute when he scored for the home side following Ronwen Williams’ poor first touch after Kegan Johannes’ back pass.

With his first touch after coming on as a second substitute Lebogang Mothiba levelled matters for the Brazilians in the 75th minute.

The Tshwane giants suffered a big blow when their star midfielder Teboho Mokoena was given his marching orders in the 82nd minute after he collected his second yellow card.

Meanwhile, Chippa United and Kaizer Chiefs played to a goalless draw at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha with Sekhukhune United stealing three points as they defeated Magesi FC 1-0 at the Seshego Stadium in Polokwane.

After firing their coach Gavin Hunt earlier this week, Durban City whipped Orbit College 3-0 at the Olympia Park Stadium in Rustenburg. And Stellenbosch FC’s poor run continued as they were beaten 2-1 by Polokwane City at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.
