Panama broke coach Hugo Broos’ unbeaten home record as they defeated Bafana Bafana 2-1 in an international friendly match at the Cape Town Stadium in the Mother City on Tuesday evening.

Following a goalless first half, the Central Americans broke the deadlock when Jose Cordoba best Bafana’s substitute goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner in the 58th minute.

Six minutes later, Chicago Fire defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi, formerly with Orlando Pirates, equalised for Bafana with a cracker. The Panamians, however, restored their lead through Jiovany Ramos’ header in the 77th minute.
