The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is set to decide on the CAF Champions League match between Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club and Kaizer Chiefs.
This follows after Chiefs encountered visa problems when they were due to travel to Morocco for Saturday’s match in Casablanca.
Amakhosi were due jet out of South Africa on Wednesday evening.
“CAF will communicate the updated decision in due time,” CAF competitions division manager Ahmed Salem said in a correspondence to the South African Football Association (SAFA).
Chiefs released a statement on Wednesday saying that they had fulfilled all the requirements needed for their travel including all COVID-19 protocols.
