American boxer Joseph Diaz lost his International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-lightweight title on the scales during an official weigh-in ahead of his fight against Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov from Tajikistan on Saturday night.
Diaz failed to make the required 58.97 kilograms as he was 1.6 kilograms overweight.
The fight is going to be held at the Fantasy Springs Casino, Indio, in California, United States of America.
