Mpho Maleka, who was in charge when Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila stunned Maritzburg United 1-0 on Friday evening, is impressed with how his boys played.
Only a few football supporters gave Vhadau Vha Damani a chance to earn a point, let alone bag three points at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
But the struggling Limpopo club walked away with full points courtesy of a Thabo Mnyamane goal on the stroke of half time.
“I’m very impressed, well done to the boys. They stuck to the game plan,” Maleka said.
“We expected Maritzburg to come to us as they were hosting us. The guys did themselves proud. We stuck together, we kept our shape. But most importantly we came here for three points, that’s what we did exactly.”
The three points will go a long way in TTM’s battle to remain in the Premier Division at the end of the season.
