The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect sporting activities as Mamelodi Sundowns could not travel to Algeria for their CAF Champions League Group B encounter against CR Belouizdad.
The Brazilians remained home after communication from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the postponement of their match, which was scheduled for Tuesday, 23 February, due to further medical restrictions in Algeria.
Earlier, the Algerian Football Association had requested a postponement. The Tshwane giants had already secured visas for the trip.
