Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande is feeling an indescribable pain because of the team’s poor run.
Three successive losses to Orlando Pirates, GladAfrica Championship side Richards Bay FC and AmaZulu have hurt Katsande in a big way.
“Losing three games in a row is not a nice thing, especially when you are here at Kaizer Chiefs. It’s something which is not acceptable. It’s gonna haunt us for a long time because we are not known for losing three games in a row,” Katsande said.
“This is actually a tough pill to swallow. At the end of the day there is nothing you can do to change what happened. We are very, very disappointed. We need to change this situation. It starts with the next game.”
Amakhosi are going to play against SuperSport United in a DStv Premiership match at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec on Saturday (15h00).
And the hard-tackling Zimbabwe-born Katsande hopes Chiefs are going to turn their fortunes around.
“Now we are facing SuperSport on Saturday. SuperSport have been tough opposition to us. The entire time I have been with Kaizer Chiefs this fixture has always been a tough one. We have to fight for our pride. We have to defend our badge,” Katsande said.
