Reeve Frosler has admitted that he knew nothing about Simba SC who meet Kaizer Chiefs in the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League.
The Chiefs defender hopes to play a meaningful role when Amakhosi face the club from Tanzania in the first leg at the FNB Stadium in Nasrec on Saturday (18h00). Simba arrived in South Africa earlier this week.
“When the draw came out and we were drawn against Simba I didn’t know much about them. They seem like a team that has done well in the Champions League,” Frosler said.
“I’m looking forward to playing them. This definitely poses a new challenge to us. We are up for the challenge. I’m looking forward to see what they have in store for us.”
The Gqeberha-born defender loves the fact that Simba come to this match having done well during the group stages.
“I think we’ve got a good chance. We will go as underdogs. You may never know what could happen,” the 23-year-old Frosler said.
