Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Reneilwe ‘Yeye’ Letsholonyane has been released by Premier Division side TS Galaxy.
Letsholonyane, who turns 39 on 9 June, was released after he didn’t see much action at the Rockets.
Before turning out for the Rockets, the dreadlocked midfielder played for Highlands Park, SuperSport United, Kaizer Chiefs and Jomo Cosmos.
“Yeye is one of the players we have taken a decision to part ways with now rather than later because of their limited involvement throughout the season. In his case, his contract was coming to an end next month,” Rockets chairman Tim Sukazi said.
While he was not getting game time at the Rockets, Soweto-born Letsholonyane kept himself busy by pursuing a CAF coaching licence.
